What is T-Iron?
T-iron is a rolled steel section shaped like the letter T, with a flat top flange and a
vertical web. It gives support on both sides of the web, which an angle cannot do. This makes
it the practical choice for frames where material has to sit or slide on either side.
Common Uses
Door and window frames, partition and panel framing, shelf and rack supports, gate frames,
sliding door tracks, glass and panel seating, and light structural work where an angle would
not give support on both sides.
